Terms of Service & Privacy Policy FAQ

Will you train AI models on my private role-plays or stories?

No, not unless you explicitly opt in.

By default, DreamGen does not use your private stories, role-play conversations, or scenario data to train or improve AI models.

If you choose to opt in to model improvement, DreamGen may use your content, including related session context, to train, evaluate, and improve models and features. This opt-in is managed through your account settings and is off by default.

Will you read my private role-plays or stories?

Private stories, role-play conversations, and scenarios are not routinely accessed or reviewed by any person. Human review may happen only in limited cases, such as:

  • you publish the content or submit it for publication;
  • you explicitly consent to human review, such as when appealing a moderation decision or contacting support about specific content;
  • you opt in to model improvement, in which case authorized personnel or service providers may review opted-in content for training, evaluation, or annotation;

How does moderation work for private role-plays or stories?

DreamGen uses automated systems to enforce its Terms of Service and safety rules, including detecting and preventing prohibited content. These systems may process private stories, role-plays, and scenarios as part of providing the service.

Automated moderation decisions are not normally reviewed by humans unless one of the limited exceptions applies, such as when you explicitly consent to human review when appealing a moderation decision.

How does moderation work for published content?

Content that you publish, or submit for publication, is treated differently from private content.

All content submitted for publication is reviewed by automated systems and may also be reviewed by human moderators. If you plan to publish content on DreamGen, you should read the Community Guidelines, which explain what is and is not allowed in published content.

How can I delete my account?

You can request account deletion on the Delete Account page.

What happens when I delete my account?

When you delete content or your account, DreamGen will remove the applicable data from its active systems within a reasonable period (typically ≤35 days).

Backups may retain deleted data for some additional time before they are overwritten or purged.

If you had opted in to model improvement and your content was already used for that purpose, it may not be possible to remove that content retroactively from existing training datasets or model weights.
