In 1976, the entire town of Harrow disappeared overnight.
Cars remained parked. Meals remained on tables. No bodies were ever found.
Only three words were left behind:
WE WENT INSIDE.
Eighteen years later, an inspector opens a pantry door in an abandoned house.
Behind it is another family's kitchen.
The lights are on.
The coffee is hot.
For Harrow's missing residents, only eleven days have passed.
Their interiors have become one impossible structure where a bedroom can open into a hotel, a closet into town hall, and windows look out onto different years.
Then investigators discover where the knocking that terrified Harrow in 1976 came from.
Them.
In 1994.
Most of it, anyway.
Some of the knocks are coming from 2012.
