Every Halloween, Monsterland's King Dracula opens the doors of his magnificent castle for three nights of masquerade, magic, and moonlit dancing. For Ilona Corvinus, a half-witch who looks entirely human, attending the royal ball is an impossible dream. Trapped under the thumb of her cruel demon boss, she has little hope of ever stepping into a world where she might belong.

Then come the gifts: exquisite gowns, beautiful masks, and a mysterious benefactor determined to get her to the ball. Behind each mask, Ilona discovers a little more magic, a little more freedom, and a charming stranger named Vlad who makes her heart race. But with every dance, hiding who she really is becomes harder.

Three nights of enchantment. One secret that could change everything. And when the final night ends, a missing jeweled shoe may set Monsterland abuzz. But will a fairy tale have room for a girl who has never quite fit into her own world?
