Welcome to the Jar!
👋 Inside sits your chaotic goblin frog—a pocket-sized tornado of moss and mischief.
🐸 It doesn't speak, but its emojis and splashes scream louder than words!
🪰 Keep its ecosystem clean, feed it before it gets hangry, and watch the mess pile up when you’re away.
🕰️ Time passes, and so does the filth... are you ready for the responsibility?

Tone: Horror-comedy (Scary Movie vibe) • Rating: PG-13 • Gore: None (implied “fade-to-amber” only)
Hook:
A campus Halloween party relocates to an abandoned observatory, and five friends discover the guest list includes a prankster in a paper-smile mask who loves jump-scares, puzzles…and timing jokes.
Back-of-book blurb :
Rain hammers the dorms, the party moves indoors, and the “art-space” observatory finally gets the attention it never wanted. Casey (trope archivist), Dex (stunt vlogger), Priya (med-student realist), Mateo (drama-club chameleon), and Linh (cipher brain) chase clues through dark hallways, foggy stairwells, and a gear room that hums like a clockwork heart—while a laughing shadow rewrites their plans in real time. Expect brisk chapters, sharp banter, soft scares, and zero gore: eliminations cut away to confetti pops, flickering jack-o’-lanterns, and squeaky party horns. Is the Smiling Shade a prank, a person, or something in between? The only rule is that Casey’s rules are always numbered wrong.

Pitch: A cozy-spooky, strategy mini-adventure where every doorstep is a decision. Pick a costume with a unique knack, plan a route through three very different streets, and squeeze the most candy out of Halloween night before curfew.
What it is:
A replayable, text-driven Halloween run. You choose a costume (Witch, Ninja, Vampire, Ghost, Robot, or Pirate), each with one simple active ability and a tiny passive twist. Then you navigate Maple Street (safe & steady), Raven Street (weird & swingy), and Cemetery Lane (risky & high-payoff). Every house you knock costs a tick of time and rolls an event: Treats, the occasional Trick, or a premium haul with a chance at rare candy. Manage Time_Left, Risk, Bag Capacity, and shoot for one of two wins:

Goal: Outsmart the night. Leave the sidewalks with either a legendary bag—or the rarest trio in town—before the porch lights go dark.

Command a classic faction in a fast, text-first homage to Heroes of Might and Magic. No hex micro. No daily grind. You play on a tick clock: some actions advance time; every 4 ticks a wave attacks (first 3 matter). Build, recruit, upgrade, and conquer sites that scale with time. Your strength is a single number: TP = P (Hero Power) + A (Army Power). Win 3 waves, reveal the Enemy Base, and crush it.
