You will encounter a mysterious Vistani caravan and be unwittingly drawn through the misty borders of Barovia. You will find the land gripped by despair, devoid of sunlight, and plagued by undead.

Early on, you will meet a fortune-teller named Madam Eva. She will performs a Tarokka card reading that scatters powerful, sacred artifacts (like the Holy Symbol of Ravenkind and the Sunsword) across Barovia.

You will explore haunted manors, crumbling ruins, and spooky villages to find these artifacts. Along the way, they unravel the tragic love story of the dark lord, Count Strahd von Zarovich.

Once geared up, you will confront Strahd in his towering, trap-filled stronghold—Castle Ravenloft—to finally vanquish him and try to escape the mists.
