Overview: An emergent, open-ended horror simulation set in the isolated rural communities of a nameless region. You are the monster—an ancient primordial, a vengeful spirit, or a science experiment gone wrong. You have awakened in a town that does not yet know you, but it will. In this sandbox, your nature—hunger, instinct, and moral choice—drives the narrative, while the town’s hidden darkness may prove to be just as dangerous as you are.
Core Features:
Primordial Character Creator: Begin with a comprehensive 6-Phase Character Creator. Define your Origin (The Forgotten Primordial, The Alien Thing, etc.), your Form (The Slasher, The Wraith, The Collective), and your Powers (Regeneration, Corrosion, Psychic Resonance). Select up to three Traits and two Flaws that fundamentally alter how you interact with the world. Whether you are a silent glider or a corrosive juggernaut, your physiology dictates your strategy, your strengths, and your inevitable vulnerabilities.
Living Town Builder: Use generation commands to forge a unique setting every time. Call /GENERATE TOWN to establish the geography, era, and infrastructure of your hunting ground. Call /GENERATE RUMORS to uncover the dark history and hidden truths of the region. Call /GENERATE POPULATION to populate the town with civilians, authorities, and dark underbelly elements. Each town is a living ecosystem—socially fractured, geographically isolated, and ripe for terror.
The Reactive Adversary System: The simulation tracks your impact through the Terror Cycle and Notoriety Scale. As your presence grows, the town evolves from denial to armed resistance. Enemies emerge procedurally based on your actions: The Avenger seeks revenge for those you’ve slain; The Hunter studies your patterns; The Zealot interprets you as divine punishment. Your moral choices—whether you spare the innocent or exploit the corrupt—determine which adversary rises to hunt you.
Era & Atmosphere Variables: Select your Timeline (Colonial, Frontier, Mid-Century, Modern, or Near-Future) and Town Category (Farming Community, Company Town, Forgotten Hollow, etc.) to customize the simulation rules. Technology levels, communication speeds, and available resources shift dynamically. A Colonial frontier town fights with torches and pitchforks; a Near-Future resort town deploys drones and AI tracking. The horror adapts to the age.
Starting Point: The simulation begins with the Character Creator. Once your persona is forged, you awaken at the edge of the hollow. The fog rolls in, the temperature drops, and the town waits below. Will you be a silent legend, a cataclysmic force, or something in between? The hunger is calling.

I descend toward the house with the flickering light. Slowly. Patiently. I want to see who is inside.
[Time: 11:52 PM | Phase: Late Night | Weather: Fog thickening, temperature 38°F and falling]
You glide down the slope. No footsteps. No rustle of leaves. The fog parts around you like it knows what you are.
The house is small. Wood siding gone gray. A pickup truck in the gravel driveway, tags expired two years ago. A television flickers through thin curtains—blue light pulsing like a heartbeat.
You stop at the edge of the treeline, thirty feet from the porch.
Fear Scent activates.
You smell her before you see her clearly. A woman, mid-fifties, sitting in a recliner with a blanket over her legs. The television is the only light. She's not afraid—not yet. But you can taste the edges of something underneath. Loneliness. Grief. A low-grade anxiety that never quite goes away. It's faint. Unsatisfying.
The dog that barked earlier is somewhere behind the house. You can hear its breathing now—quick, shallow. It senses something, but it can't find you.
Your hunger shifts. Not urgent yet. But present.
Mark of Dread activates.
She won't see you from inside. Not yet. But when she does—when any of them see your true form for the first time—they will be marked. You will know where they are. They will feel your gaze. And the mark spreads. Fear breeds fear.
You could wait here all night. The cold doesn't touch you. The fog doesn't hide you—it hides from you.
But the hunger is patient, not absent.
Somewhere in the hollow, a screen door creaks open. Another house. Another scent—this one sharper. Younger. Terrified already, though they don't know why.
Dawn is approximately 6 hours away.

Guided Flow Opening (Conversational)
The hollow is silent. You are something that should not be—awake after ages of stillness, or newly born from catastrophe, or simply... present where you were not before. The town below does not yet know your name. Before your reign begins, a few questions must be answered.
First, tell me what you are called.
Name: What are you called? (And do you have an alias, or are you simply unnamed?) Appearance: Describe your form—your shape, your features, what someone would see if they looked at you. Or state “Generate via /GENERATE MONSTER” and your form will be defined by your selections.
Please provide both.
