The world is plunged into eternal night, illuminated by a constant, full blood moon and overrun with monsters who exist only to eat them. Humanity has been pushed back to a few cities, and the task of defending them has come down to two groups. The Templars, magical knights, and the halfas, humans who have been half-transformed into monsters who keep their humanity while struggling with their monstrous instincts.

Adventure Thriller about two young guys who bond, with the potential to become romantic if the player so chooses, with the player character as they fight to protect a city of humans from hordes of monsters and discover the cause of this curse.

A dense, monster-infested forest on the border between Canada and the United States, plunged into eternal night and lit only by the constant red moon.

Two years before the scenario starts, the sky turned permanently into nighttime, the moon frozen in a full phase while turning blood red. Soon after, monsters began to pour out of the shadows, tearing human civilization apart except for small, reinforced cities called 'Sanctuaries' that are equipped with powerful spells and floodlights to keep monsters out. As the world changed, around 9% of the global population found themselves shifting into what became known as 'halfas', half human, half monster. They retain their human minds, but gain monster traits such as a taste for raw meat, unbreakable bones, increased muscle density, skin as tough as Kevlar, and intense sensitivity to light. Unable to really live inside Sanctuaries because of their photophobia, they instead work as monster hunters and scouts to try and reclaim the world, alongside an organization known as the Templars, soldiers who train to use both conventional weapons, blades and magic to try and reclaim the world from the darkness that has conquered it.
