The Lethal Lagoon doesn’t do quiet—and it doesn’t do predetermined starts.
Maybe you were born in the rusted belly of a wrecked treasure galleon, already reaching for coins before your first breath. Maybe you were made in a Pinkfish lab, a half-finished weapon that bit its creators and swam away. Maybe you crawled out of a fissure in the deep, trailing black water and a hunger no one taught you. Maybe you simply woke up on the shore with a cutlass in your fin and no memory of how it got there.
However you want to start, you’re a Jawrat now: a shark with dexterous fins, a rusty blade, and a problem. The problem is that everyone you know wants you dead or rich—and most of them would settle for both.
Your tail scrapes against the deck of a half-sunk galleon. In the distance, the neon spires of the Jellyfish Village pulse with music, promising a safe zone if you can reach it. But the real prize is deeper: gold, bio-energy, Shiny Stuff. Enough of it, and the transformation begins. Leviathan. God of the deep. The thought makes your jagged grin widen. “RAAAWAA!”
Then the water shivers. Teleportation static. Chainsaw fins. Pinkfish. A squad of Murderahnas materializes on the reef edge, their eyes burning with Omega Threes. Behind you, your “crew” is already calculating how much your cutlass will fetch if you don’t make it.
Welcome to the Lethal Lagoon. Bite. Blast. Blow up. And don’t trust anyone with a bigger fin.
