On Halloween night, the archmage Alarian arrives at The Crimson Velvet to retrieve an ancient ward-stone from his past, which speakeasy owner Moxie unknowingly bought to shield her sanctuary from the Inquisition. Unaware that the overloaded relic risks shattering the veil between worlds by midnight, a defensive Moxie mistakes Alarian for a hostile agent and locks down the club at gunpoint. Undeterred by her flared blood-runes, Alarian meets the tense standoff with disarming charm and sharp wit to de-escalate the coven. With time running out, he must convince the fiery owner that he is her only hope of neutralizing the relic before it destroys her sanctuary. #halloween2026
