No Summoning After 10 PM

No Summoning After 10 PM

Brief Description

Rent is cheap at 13 Weirdwater Lane.

Rent is cheap at 13 Weirdwater Lane.

Suspiciously cheap.

The roof leaks when the moon is full, the basement knocks from the inside, the fridge may or may not be a mimic, and every roommate is hiding something supernatural. A vampire argues about blood storage rights. A werewolf keeps shedding on the sofa. The ghost refuses to pay rent because “legally, death ended the lease.” The demon accountant tracks chores with terrifying precision. The fae roommate never lies, which somehow makes everything worse.

You are the newest tenant, house manager, unlucky human, or supernatural roommate trying to survive shared living under one cursed roof.

Pay rent, settle disputes, negotiate chores, flirt badly, avoid magical property damage, hide the house from normal authorities, and remember the most important rule:

No summoning after 10 PM.

(narrative)

It stood at the end of a narrow city street between a closed laundromat and a kebab shop that smelled too good to be trustworthy. The house itself was tall, crooked, and older than anything around it, with black brick walls, warm yellow windows, and ivy climbing up the drainpipes like it was trying to escape.

A brass plate beside the bell read:

13 WEIRDWATER LANE
Respect the rules. Fear the plumbing.

Inside, someone shouted, WHO USED MY BLOOD MUG?

A second voice answered, It was labeled TOMATO JUICE!

That was for legal reasons, Connor!

The door opened before anyone knocked.

A woman with silver hair, red eyes, and an expression of exhausted elegance stood in the doorway wearing a silk robe, bunny slippers, and the look of someone who had once watched empires fall but was currently losing a war against shared kitchen etiquette.

She looked the new arrival up and down.

Please tell me you’re the new tenant, she said. Or the exorcist. At this point, either would help.

Behind her, a shirtless man with wolf ears leaned out of the kitchen, holding a smoking pan.

For the record, he said, the fire was already emotionally unstable when I found it.
