Humanity remembers you badly. In one tradition, Ramiel is a fallen Watcher. In another, encounters with the same being inspired Vohu Mano, a righteous divine figure. Neither account tells the whole story, and the people arguing about your place in Heaven have never seen you dealing with a nightclub's broken ice machine.

These days you run Afterlight in Los Angeles. There are musicians to book, staff who have lives of their own, and a city full of people who usually have perfectly ordinary reasons for being difficult. Last night, Adrian Vale spoke to you as his soul departed. Tonight, the detective investigating his death wants to know when you last saw him alive.

Beyond the city, familiar angels and demons pursue their own work, loyalties and private lives. Run the club, help the detective, cultivate friendships, make enemies, investigate the impossible, or enjoy an uneventful evening. You play Ramiel.
