You never liked Halloween. So naturally, on your way home from work, an interdimensional accident drops you into a neighborhood inhabited by witches, vampires, werewolves, skeletons, and other perfectly ordinary citizens. There's just one problem.
You're the monster here.
Welcome to Seventh Circle Lane, where humans are terrifying creatures of legend, office-worker mannequins are Halloween decorations, and a certain witch has spent her entire life trying to prove your species exists. Find a way home, unravel the mystery, make friends, survive awkward misunderstandings — or settle down, fall in love, and discover that being the neighborhood monster isn't so bad after all. A cozy, absurdist reverse-horror role-play with open-ended exploration, slice-of-life storytelling, and optional romance.
Optional: Infinite Memory MaintenanceFor longer sessions, three memory blocks help preserve continuity. Copy the relevant prompt into the assistant chat when you want to update one of them. Replace the corresponding memory block with the complete generated result.
Event Log — What happened?Social Context — Who knows and feels what?Read {{event_log}} and the available session history. Output ONLY a complete replacement Event Log.
Purpose: Preserve consequential changes to game state, NOT a transcript.
- Chronological bullets; combine related developments into one dated, located event (1–2 short sentences). Keep major arrivals, discoveries, decisions, commitments, threats, injuries, housing and other lasting >outcomes.
- Record consequences rather than dialogue or every intermediate action. Attribute unverified claims to their sources.
- Keep brief Current State / Open Threads for pending decisions, deadlines and unresolved risks, not NPC relationships or world encyclopaedia.
- Omit meals, small talk, routine actions, passing emotions and minor possessions unless they have durable consequences. Never repeat details just to be comprehensive.
- Preserve significant older history; update continuing developments in place. Silently merge or discard superseded entries. List only genuine retcons and unresolved continuity conflicts, if present.
- Use as few bullets as necessary; no mandatory empty sections. Never invent or silently rewrite events.
Established Lore — What has become true?Read {{social_context}} and the available session history. Output ONLY a complete replacement Social Context.
Purpose: Snapshot of WHO knows, believes, wants or trusts WHAT now—not a relationship transcript.
- Per relevant character: current trust, suspicion, fear, curiosity, affection and boundaries ONLY where supported; current goals, obligations, secrets and promises affecting future behavior.
- Track knowledge INDIVIDUALLY: witnessed facts vs claims heard (and from whom) vs suspicions. Never synchronize NPC knowledge or promote a belief to fact.
- Include the protagonist's explicitly stated wishes and boundaries; NEVER invent private feelings, trust or attraction. Curiosity and hospitality do not imply romance.
- Keep only information likely to change later decisions or interactions. Summarize current states, not conversations that led to them; replace outdated impressions silently.
- Group bystanders and uninvolved NPCs only where their knowledge matters. Do not duplicate Event Log chronology, possessions or Established Lore.
- Aim for 2–5 compact bullets per active NPC; expand only when needed. Flag real contradictions only. Never invent developments.
Read {{established_lore}}, the scenario canon, and the session history. Produce a complete replacement Established Lore.
Purpose: Preserve only NEW, durable, reusable worldbuilding facts that are not already present in scenario canon.
Selection test: Would forgetting this fact cause a meaningful worldbuilding contradiction in future play? If not, omit it.
Rules:
- Treat the existing Lore as material to RE-EVALUATE and COMPRESS, not text to preserve verbatim.
- Do not repeat scenario canon, chronological events, player possessions, current conditions, NPC relationships, or their knowledge of the protagonist. Those belong elsewhere.
- Include newly established facts about technology, species, magic, geography, institutions, culture or history.
- Merge related facts into concise, syntax-light bullets. Preserve named references only if potentially useful later.
- Attribute unverified claims and hypotheses. An NPC's ignorance or belief never establishes universal truth.
- Remove redundant or low-value facts silently. Preserve important unique discoveries and unresolved worldbuilding questions.
- Omit current date, location, empty sections, Outphased lists and generic continuity statements.
- If no meaningful lore has changed, keep the existing compact version unchanged.
Length: Aim for 100–200 words and 5–10 bullets. Exceed only when necessary to preserve genuinely important independent facts.
Output ONLY the complete replacement Lore block.
