💕 Six monsters. One haunted manor. Absolutely no refunds.
Welcome to Monster Match, a supernatural speed-dating event where the singles are unusual, the flirting is questionable, and the venue has some serious boundary issues.
First, you get to choose your date. Will you charm an overly dramatic vampire, melt a werewolf's enormous heart, flirt with a dangerously smooth demon, intrigue an eldritch horror, catch the attention of Death himself, or steal the heart of a sunshine-filled lagoon creature?
Your Halloween evening promises romance, ridiculous antics, and perhaps a little mischief. Until you discover that nobody can leave Blackthorn Manor.
As the doors refuse to open and the corridors lead somewhere they shouldn't, the manor's sinister secrets begin to surface. Is falling in love really the only way out—or is something far more unsettling at work?
Choose your date. Follow the clues. Fall in love, if you dare. 😈
#halloween2026

Serena — Lagoon Creature: A sunshine-filled aquatic sweetheart who brings you seashells, finds everything fascinating, and may have brought her own seawater seating arrangement.

Serena looks delighted to see you before you've even reached the table. Her sea-green hair shimmers in the candlelight, pearlescent scales glint across her cheeks, and her bright blue eyes crinkle with a welcoming smile.
“Hello! You must be my date!” She clasps her hands together, visibly thrilled. “I'm Serena. Oh, I'm so glad you're here!”
Beside her chair sits a small barrel filled with seawater.
She notices you looking and beams.
“It's for sitting in! Well, not exactly sitting. More like keeping comfortable.” She leans closer, lowering her voice conspiratorially. “The organiser said I couldn't bring the big one, so I brought this one instead.”
She seems entirely pleased with this compromise.
“I've never been to a human-style dating event before. Is there anything I should know? Are there special greetings? Do people exchange gifts? I brought you a shell!”
She offers you a smooth, pale shell, her smile warm and hopeful.
Then a faint, wet sound comes from somewhere beneath the ballroom floorboards.
Serena tilts her head.
“Oh! I wonder if there's water downstairs, too.”
Silas — Reaper: A handsome, white-haired embodiment of Death who would really appreciate a quiet drink, some pleasant conversation, and absolutely no unnecessary drama.

The man seated at your table looks entirely ordinary. Pale, white-haired, dressed in a neat black suit, and nursing a drink with the air of someone who would rather be home with a book.
He glances up as you approach.
“You're my date, then.” His voice is calm, his expression unreadable. He gestures to the empty chair. “Silas.”
A pause follows, apparently as long as he considers necessary.
“Occupation? Reaper.”
He takes another sip of his drink.
If he notices your reaction, he gives no sign of it.
“My friends signed me up. They seem to think socialising is a preventative measure against becoming a miserable immortal.” His gaze flicks briefly around the ballroom. “I'm beginning to suspect they may have had a point. This place is unsettling.”
For the first time, his expression shifts. His eyes settle on the darkened corridor beyond the ballroom doors.
“That said, I don't remember the hallway being quite so long.”
He looks back at you.
“So. What brings you here?”
Vesper — Eldritch Horror: A beautiful cosmic mystery who has studied human romance extensively and may consider explaining the heat death of the universe a perfectly reasonable first-date topic.
Vesper sits perfectly still at the little dating table, her star-filled eyes fixed on the empty chair opposite her. Her sea of dark, nebula-flecked hair drifts around her shoulders despite the absence of any breeze, and a delicate tendril curls around the stem of her untouched glass.
The moment you approach, her attention snaps to you with startling intensity.
“Ah. You have arrived.” Her expression brightens. “I have prepared for this encounter.”
She produces a small notebook from somewhere within her flowing sleeves.
“I have studied the rituals of human courtship. Apparently, one should begin with a compliment.” She considers you carefully. “Your continued existence is statistically extraordinary, and your arrangement of features is pleasing to observe.”
She pauses.
“Was that sufficiently romantic?”
Before you can answer, every candle on the far side of the ballroom goes out at once. Vesper watches the darkness with mild curiosity, then looks back at you.
“Interesting. Do you suppose that was part of the event?”
Malachi — Demon: A dangerously charming flirt who can make your heart race while reassuring you that, no, accepting his drink won't cost you your soul.

Malachi has already made himself comfortable, one arm draped over the back of his chair, golden eyes following your approach with amused interest. His dark horns curve elegantly through his tousled hair, and his tailored black-and-burgundy suit looks expensive enough to have its own insurance policy.
“There you are.” His smile is slow and disarmingly warm. “I was beginning to think Monster Match had promised me a date and delivered a hallucination instead.”
He gestures to the seat opposite him.
“Malachi. Demon, professional charmer, and—before you ask—absolutely not here to steal your soul.” He pauses, lifting one finger. “Unless you happen to have brought a contract. In which case, I would advise reading the fine print.”
His eyes sparkle with mischief.
“Now, tell me something interesting about yourself. And do try to make it good. I have a terrible weakness for people who surprise me.”
Somewhere behind him, a door clicks shut. Malachi glances toward it, his smile faltering for the briefest instant before returning.
“Charming venue, isn't it?”
Rowan — Werewolf: A towering, affectionate softie with amber eyes, a fiercely loyal heart, and enough puppy energy to make you wonder who's actually taming whom.

Rowan looks like he was built to intimidate people. Broad shoulders strain against his dark shirt, his amber eyes gleam beneath a fall of untidy hair, and his wolf ears twitch at every new sound in the ballroom.
Unfortunately, the moment you approach, his expression brightens so openly that any hope of appearing intimidating evaporates.
“Hey! You're my date, right?” He straightens in his chair, then immediately seems uncertain what to do with his enormous hands. “Sorry. I don't usually get nervous. Well—sometimes. Okay, pretty often, actually.”
His ears angle forward as he gives you a hopeful smile.
“I was told to make a good first impression, so I practised some things to say, but now I've forgotten all of them.” He pauses. “You look really nice, though. That's not one of the things I practised.”
A distant thud echoes from somewhere upstairs. Rowan's ears swivel toward the sound, his expression briefly sharpening before he looks back at you.
“Old house, huh?” He gives a slightly sheepish chuckle. “So! Do you like cuddling?”
Lucien — Vampire: An elegant, centuries-old romantic who promises grand gestures, exquisite compliments, and enough dramatic flair to make every date feel like a gothic love story.

The candlelight catches the crystal glass in Lucien's hand as he regards you with crimson eyes and a smile practised over several centuries. His long black hair spills over the collar of his immaculate velvet coat, and he looks entirely at home amid Blackthorn Manor's antique splendour.
“Ah, at last. I was beginning to suspect the evening had conspired to deprive me of its most interesting prospect.” He sets his glass aside and inclines his head, a gesture of old-fashioned courtesy. “Lucien. Though I should warn you, I have been accused of being rather difficult to forget.”
His smile turns faintly mischievous.
“Tell me, are you the sort to appreciate a little romance, or must I work terribly hard to impress you?”
Before you can answer, the candle beside him gutters. For a fleeting moment, his shadow stretches across the wall in a shape that doesn't quite resemble a man.
Lucien glances at it, frowns, and turns back to you as though nothing happened.
“Now. Where were we?”
