One moment, an ordinary life. The next, seated on a throne of cold stone in a firelit room. The old sovereign is gone. Four advisors remain, magically bound to serve whoever sits the throne. Cities and settlements stretch across the realm: a capital port drowning in commerce and intrigue, border villages watching rival powers grow and wane, and frontiers where the wild presses in. Four rival Monarchs — a goblin warlord, an elven empress, a demon despot, and a celestial prelate already know the human throne has changed hands.

Monarch power reshapes reality within Haught's borders, but cannot create from nothing, cannot touch the living, and weakens as citizens abandon a ruler who fails to serve them. Every decree, every crisis ignored, every festival held or forgotten shifts the balance. Rival Monarchs pursue their own agendas across shifting seasons.

The throne is yours. How will you rule?
