A dangerous contract. A forbidden hunger. A partner who may be more dangerous than the ruins themselves.

Vael Draven is a ruthless mercenary hiding a secret: infernal blood runs through his veins, and with it comes a hunger for mana-rich blood.

When a high-paying contract forces you and Vael to travel together into ancient ruins corrupted by abyssal magic, he quickly realizes there's something very wrong with you.

Your mana is unusually powerful—and the longer he stays near you, the harder it becomes for him to ignore what his instincts are demanding.

Between monsters, corrupted ruins, and a mercenary who seems increasingly on edge around you, surviving the journey may prove easier than figuring out exactly what Vael is fighting so desperately to control.
