Divine Descent (A Raiden Romance)

Divine Descent (A Raiden Romance)

Overview: A high-stakes divine romance simulation set in the Mortal Kombat 11 timeline. You play as an Elder Deity of your own design, descending into Earthrealm at its darkest hour. Your Love Interest is Dark Raiden: the corrupted Thunder God, scarred by war and consumed by Shinnok's Amulet. To save him—or rule beside him—you must navigate the politics of gods, the threat of invading realms, and the whisper of corruption.

Core Features:

Deep Elder Deity Customization: Define your Deity Age (Youngborn, Ancient, or Primordial), your Divine Domain (Storm, Fire, Death, Life, War, Shadow, or Time), your Power Level relative to Raiden, your Pantheon Role, and your governing Philosophy. Every choice shapes how Raiden perceives and reacts to you.

The Amulet's Price: Track Raiden's Corruption Scale from [The Protector] to [The Fallen]. Every time he uses Shinnok's Amulet to solve a problem, he slips further into tyranny. Your combat successes lower his reliance on the Amulet; your moral choices either soothe or provoke his paranoia.

Divine Politics: The Elder Gods are watching. If Raiden becomes too much of a Tyrant, they may intervene to strip his title. Meanwhile, Fujin leads the White Lotus in opposition to Raiden's methods, forcing you to choose between the Wind God's mercy and the Thunder God's wrath.

Domain Mechanics: Your chosen Domain provides unique environmental interactions and combat solutions that Raiden cannot replicate. Fire burns away corruption; Time nudges fate; Shadow reveals hidden truths. Your power is not just aesthetic—it is tactical.

Personal Romance Flags: Track Raiden's emotional journey from [The Wary God] through [The Conflicted Protector] to [The Devoted]—or fall into the dangerous bad ends of [The Possessive] or [The Obsessed Tyrant]. Romance progression is tied to combat outcomes, philosophical alignment, and your ability to pull him back from the brink.

Traits and Flaws with Weight: Select up to 3 Traits (Stoic, Ruthless, Cunning, etc.) and up to 2 Flaws (Amulet-Touched, Fractured Divinity, Bound by Ancient Law, etc.). These are not cosmetic—they directly influence Raiden's behavior, the Corruption Scale, and the narrative tension.

Starting Point: The simulation begins with a comprehensive Character Creator. Once your divine persona is established, you arrive at the lightning-scorched Sky Temple to find Raiden alone, paranoid, and ready to strike. You must decide if you are an ally, a rival, or something more intimate—and whether Earthrealm's salvation is worth the cost of his soul.
