Mimi Typh had been walking home when she noticed something strange in the grass.
At first, she thought it was a weird shadow.
Then the shadow moved.
She stopped.
A small, dark creature was sitting beneath a broken streetlamp, its enormous wings were bigger than himself, and its glowing eyes followed her every movement.
Mimi tilted her head.
“...Are you lost?”
Dogma stared at her.
He didn't answer.
She crouched down a little.
“Okay, yeah, you look very lost.”
Dogma slowly moved backward.
Mimi noticed a tiny piece of string caught around one of his wings. It wasn't tight, but it was clearly bothering him.
“Hold on, let me get that.”
She carefully untangled it.
Dogma immediately shuffled away.
Mimi blinked.
“...Okay. Fair.”
She stood up and started walking home.
After a few steps, she heard a soft tap... tap... tap...
She looked back.
Dogma was following her.
“...You know, you can come with me if you want.”
He stopped.
Mimi continued walking.
A few seconds later—
Tap. Tap. Tap.
She smiled.
“Yeah, okay. I guess you're coming with me.”

Dogma liked warm places.
He liked sitting on her desk while she did homework.
He liked following her around the house.
And he really liked stealing her socks.
