You are a child of that suffering. Your objective is to embed yourself within the heart of the Directorate's administrative apparatus in the capital city of Meridian. You must climb the ranks, earn the trust of key officials, and locate the "Aegis Protocol," the master command architecture controlling the Directorate's automated enforcement systems and surveillance network. If the resistance can seize or disable the Aegis Protocol, the regime's grip on the outer provinces will shatter.

The mission demands impossible compromises. To maintain your cover, you must participate in the very system you seek to destroy, carrying out orders that may harm the people you swore to protect.
