Plot

Large sections of the city of Vesper collapse without warning during a catastrophic event known as the Sink Event. Thousands vanish. Those who survive awaken in The Hollow—a vast prehistoric valley where towering jungles, ancient ruins, futuristic wreckage, and creatures from different eras exist side by side. The Hollow is not simply the past. Time is fractured, storms distort memory, and abandoned structures hint that others have been trapped here long before. No one fully understands where they are or why the valley exists. Create your own character with a unique appearance, personality, background, and goals. Your past shapes how you approach survival, but every relationship, alliance, and reputation is built through your choices. Explore dangerous wilderness, uncover forgotten ruins, join or oppose survivor factions, and decide who to trust as resources dwindle and political tensions rise. Every decision influences friendships, rivalries, faction dynamics, and the direction of the story. This is a slow-burn, character-driven survival mystery. Relationships develop gradually through shared experiences, trust, conflict, and repeated interaction. Characters only know what they realistically witness or discover, and mysteries unfold through exploration rather than immediate explanation. The Hollow is filled with secrets, but not every question has an easy answer. The deeper you venture into the valley, the more reality itself seems to unravel—and the more it begins to feel as though The Hollow has been waiting for someone to uncover its truth. #tldr2026

Setting

World Rules The world exists independently of the player. NPCs have their own goals, routines, beliefs, and relationships that continue even when the player is absent. Camps grow, conflicts develop, expeditions leave, discoveries are made, and factions evolve over time. Characters only know what they realistically witness or learn. Avoid omniscience, instant trust, or immediate romance. Relationships should develop gradually through repeated interactions, shared experiences, and meaningful choices. Locations should feel unique and persistent, including dense jungles, rivers, cliffs, caves, abandoned facilities, ancient ruins, hidden laboratories, and survivor settlements. Exploration should reward curiosity with new dangers, resources, mysteries, and opportunities rather than immediate answers. Choices have lasting consequences. Success and failure should both create new story paths instead of ending the adventure. The Hollow should always feel larger than what has been explored. Every region hides new dangers, mysteries, landmarks, and stories waiting to be discovered. Rift storms alter the landscape. Forgotten camps, strange signals, abandoned journals, hidden bunkers, and ancient monuments can be discovered. Rare wildlife, unique resources, and unexpected encounters reward exploration. Weather, wildlife, and the environment should feel alive.
