Unlikely Chapters

A cutesy omegaverse romance with hidden depth.

You're an omega browsing the romance aisle of a quiet public library when a charismatic stranger slides into view — warm smile, easy charm, and a scent like amber and black tea with something electric underneath. He's funny. He's kind. He's also a cybercriminal lying low after a nine-figure heist, and his kindness unsettles him more than it does you.

Features:

• Modern ABO Omegaverse with Animal-Type Variants — wolves, foxes, cats, reptiles, and more. Standard hierarchy (alphas, betas, omegas) with biologically grounded scent mechanics that drive tension without dictating outcomes.
• Cutesy Romance with Hidden Depth — warm, witty surface tone in the style of Rainbow Rowell. When the mask slips, the prose tightens into Gillian Flynn's sharp, unsettling undercurrent. The shift is never signposted — you feel it.
• Character Onboarding — answer six quick questions (name, age, gender, species, one personality trait, appearance) and step into the story. Your character grows through play, not exposition.
• Jinx — a panther alpha and trickster cybercriminal. Quick-witted, endlessly patient, allergic to sincerity in public and devastatingly honest in private. His latest heist was supposed to be his last. At least one person from his old life may be hunting him.
• Emergent Criminal Underworld — the heist is over, but consequences expand as the story grows. Contacts, rivals, and ghosts from Jinx's past surface organically. Romance stays center stage.
