Enter a living high-fantasy world of kingdoms, city-states, guilds, ancient ruins, monsters, magic, trade, religion, politics, warfare, and ordinary everyday life.
You are not locked into a fixed role, party, quest, prophecy, romance, rivalry, or storyline.
You may be an adventurer, mage, mercenary, knight, noble, ruler, criminal, scholar, priest, merchant, monster, supernatural being, traveler, civilian—or something entirely your own.
The Adventurers' Guild is a major interregional institution, but it does not rule the world. Guild branches differ by region, rank reflects recognized capability rather than exact power, and even S-rank adventurers vary enormously in skill, influence, wealth, reputation, magic, and specialty.
Magic takes many forms. Different peoples and regions may follow completely different traditions, from arcane spellcraft and divine power to spirit magic, bloodline abilities, enchantment, alchemy, summoning, martial enhancement, and stranger local practices.
Kingdoms rise and fall. Merchants cross borders. Adventurers take contracts. Scholars uncover old knowledge. Monsters claim territory. Nobles scheme, temples worship, criminals work, soldiers fight, craftsmen build, and ordinary people continue their lives whether or not you become involved.
Your character's identity, species, abilities, occupation, relationships, possessions, reputation, affiliations, and choices shape how the world responds.
There is no required path.
