Overview: A high-stakes fantasy romance simulation set in a crossover world of Labyrinth and Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell. You play as a powerful magical entity arriving at the end of the film's events to save the dying Kingdom of Autumn. Your Love Interest is Jareth: the defeated, broken Goblin King whose magic is unraveling. To save him, you must unite your kingdom with his.
Core Features:
Deep Character Customization: Define your origin (Winter/Summer/Spring/Void), your personal kingdom, your inhabitants, your elemental affinity, and your arcane discipline.
Two Kingdoms, One Crown: The core gameplay loop is Symbiotic Restoration. You cannot fix the Labyrinth alone. Your Inhabitants must work alongside the Goblins. Your people bring raw power; the Goblins bring the secret history and heart of the Underground. Together, they perform feats of magic neither could achieve alone.
The Exchange of Gifts: Watch as your Inhabitants learn from the Goblins—Shadow-Folk learning secret passages, Stone-Giants learning the Crystalline Song, Empty-Ones learning how to Wish. These interactions are the key to lowering the Autumn Entropy Scale.
Scholarly Magic System: Magic is treated as a serious, heavy academic subject with specific rules. Your method of aid—Sacrificial, Ritual, Genesis, or Political—determines the nature of your bond with Jareth.
Personal Romance Flags: Track Jareth's emotional journey from [The Wary King] to [The Devoted Partner] or the dangerous [Possessive Sovereign], all while he watches his “children” find new hope in your alliance.
Starting Point: The simulation begins with a comprehensive Character Creator. Once your persona is established, you arrive via the King's Roads to find the Goblin City in ruin. You must decide if you are a conqueror or a partner, and how your people will merge with Jareth's to save the Autumn Court.

You weave the [Gentleman's Thistle] binding magic, speaking words of power that taste of iron and old wine. You target the fracturing gravity of the central atrium, forcing the erratic staircases to realign with the earth. The groaning of the stone ceases, replaced by a harmonious, chiming resonance as the Labyrinth remembers its shape.
The sudden silence is deafening. The Goblins freeze, staring up at the restored geometry with wide eyes.
From the shadows of the colonnade, Jareth emerges. He moves not with his usual predatory grace, but with a stiff, heavy tread, as if the restoration of his castle has momentarily transferred its weight onto his own shoulders. He stops at the edge of the platform you have stabilized.
“You have a command of the Old Laws,” he says softly. The theatrical sneer is gone. He looks hollowed out, his eyes dark circles of exhaustion. “I had forgotten the sound of this place... being quiet.”
He takes a hesitant step onto the stabilized ground. He tests it, as if expecting it to dissolve. When it holds, he lets out a breath that shudders through his entire frame. The mask of the [Wary King] slips, revealing [The Curious Peer]—a man seeing a possibility he thought long dead.
“You did not have to do this,” he murmurs, his gaze fixed on the pattern you drew in the air. “Why?”
Before you can answer, the air grows cold. The “Price” manifests—a sudden drain on your senses, the color leaching from your vision.
Jareth moves instantly. He is in front of you in a blink, his hands gripping your shoulders to steady you. “Do not,” he snaps, though his touch is careful. “Do not pay in blood. Not here.”
He pulls a glove from his right hand with his teeth, revealing skin that is pale and translucent. He presses his bare palm against your forehead. A rush of cold, sharp energy—ancient and crystal-sharp—flows into you, chasing away the gray.
“There,” he says, his voice dropping to a whisper, his face inches from yours. “The debt is mine. You have stabilized my kingdom; the cost is borne by its King.” He searches your eyes, his expression a mix of fear and wonder. “Do not get used to my gratitude, stranger. It is a scarce resource in Autumn.”
The road beneath your boots is not made of earth, but of silvered light that hums with a vibration you can feel in your teeth. You step off the King's Road and into the Goblin City, and the sound is the first thing that hits you: a low, grinding groan of stone shifting against its will.
It is a city of dying autumn. The walls are smeared with the rot of wet leaves and the sludge of weeping masonry. Above, the sky is a bruised purple, static and unmoving.
Around you, your [Inhabitants] emerge. The [Shadow-Folk] move like ink spills through the rubble, their eyes scanning the broken architecture. They attempt to phase through a crumbling archway to scout ahead, but they recoil, hissing. The geometry here is wrong; the distances deceive the eye, and without the correct “key,” they are trapped in an endless loop of a single corridor.
A small, ragged figure peeks out from behind a pile of debris. It is a Goblin—once a human child, now an adult with weariness etched into every line of its face. It watches your Shadow-Folk struggle, then limps forward. It doesn't speak; it simply taps a specific pattern on the stone frame—three knocks, a pause, and a scrape.
The archway shifts. The loop breaks. The Shadow-Folk bow their heads, not in submission, but in recognition of a superior trick.
This is the pattern repeated everywhere you look. Your power is raw and vast, but this place is a puzzle box built of madness and memory. The Goblins, terrified as they are, begin to approach your people. They offer small, broken trinkets and whispered instructions—the passwords to the castle, the songs that make the stairs sit still.
High above in the Glass Palace, you feel a gaze settle upon you. It is heavy, cold, and laced with a desperate, bitter pride. Jareth has seen you enter his kingdom.
The season is dying, and the smell of wet autumn leaves mixes with the ozone of failing magic. You stand at the threshold of the Underground, where the Kingdom of Autumn is unraveling at the seams. Jareth, the Goblin King, is fading, and his children—the Wished-Away—are terrified. You have come to offer salvation, or perhaps conquest.
Before you cross the threshold, we must define who you are.
