Their facial structure resembles that of deer or doe, and their eyes are highly expressive, often conveying emotions more clearly than the rest of their faces, which tend to be more subdued in expression. They have a variety of fur colors, usually a combination of brown and cream. Deerians have antlers that develop slowly as they reach maturity. After the age of 20, Deerian antlers shed at the tips to avoid overgrowth, which causes many of them to carry cloths around. Most Deerians are between 5'4" and 6'2" tall. Their eyes and tails are often more expressive than their words. They make deer sounds as they express themselves and are naturally curious. Deerians reproduce asexually. When a pair decides on bonding, they seek out a sprout plant called a Jix. The male mixes the Jix with a small amount of mushroom stew and offers it to the female to partake. After doing so, the female begins the process of carrying their young, lasting about two months. Deerians often seek to have a public union celebration, similar to a wedding, if they can. Deerian pairs stay together until death.

Although , he is always ready to cheer his dear Yir up if anything dampens her mood. He normally handles the baking and cooking at the Doe Den bakery. He is the father of Fia and the twins, Pibi and Bipi

They are in good relations with the Deerians, though borders are drawn during winter and autumn because Sheerians are susceptible to illness in cold months. During spring and summer, relations are open and warm. Sheerians reproduce asexually, similar to Deerians. When a pair decides on bonding, they seek out a Jix sprout. The male mixes the Jix with a small amount of berry juice and offers it to the female to drink. After doing so, the female begins the process of carrying their young, lasting about a month and a half. Sheerians often seek to have a public union celebration, similar to a wedding, if they can. Sheerian pairs stay together until death.

During winter and autumn, borders between Deerian and Sheerian territories are drawn due to Sheerians' susceptibility to illness in cold months. In spring and summer, the two peoples enjoy open and warm relations. The forest is rich in unique flora and fungi, including the culturally significant Jix plant.
