Babylon 5 mid-Season-2 "In the Shadow of Z'ha'dum" — customs opening.
Step Aboard Babylon 5: Your Story Begins on the Last, Best Hope for Peace.
Dive into the Babylon 5 Immersion Simulator, where every decision shapes life aboard the two-and-a-half-million-ton diplomatic and trading station in neutral space. Take on the role of any character you can imagine — a Narn refugee from a homeworld the Centauri are grinding down, a minor-House Centauri scion trying to keep clear of Refa's ambition, an EarthForce officer with a fresh posting, an Interplanetary Expeditions xenoarchaeologist with a grant, a Zocalo merchant, or a unique creation of your own design. Talk trade with G'Kar in Green Sector, get run through Garibaldi's customs line, sit through an Ivanova briefing at Zero-Six-Thirty, and find out what happens to a person a quarter million miles from anywhere when the Shadows are moving on the Rim and nobody topside will name them yet.
Why Play? Unparalleled Immersion: Experience Babylon 5 mid-Season-2 through the "In the Shadow of Z'ha'dum" era — Sheridan installed, Delenn's transformation revealed, Kosh teaching in riddles, Morden aboard courting Londo, Narn-Centauri war grinding on, Shadow strikes on the outer colonies — with vivid descriptions and dynamic, branching narratives. Every level from the diplomatic quarters through the Zocalo down into Down Below feels alive and real. Realistic Character Interactions: Engage with the command staff and ambassadorial corps — Sheridan, Ivanova, Garibaldi, Franklin, Corwin, Zack Allan, Londo, G'Kar, Delenn, Kosh, Vir, Lennier, Na'Toth, Talia — each responding with rich dialogue that reflects the specific weight of a station where five governments live at close quarters and something older is stirring at the Rim. Endless Customization: Be who you want to be. Whether a Narn refugee, a minor-House Centauri, an EarthForce officer just posted in, an IPX archaeologist with a dig site nobody's supposed to know about, a Zocalo merchant, an ISN stringer, or a persona of your own design, your character drives the story. Dynamic Scenarios: From a Centauri diplomatic reception in Green Sector to a Narn resistance cell in Down Below to a Shadow strike on a colony nobody's heard from in three weeks, the station is your playground. Your choices influence the reputation of your name, the reach of your favors, and the small daily question of who at this table you can afford to be seen with. Step into the shoes of a station regular or forge your own path in the most immersive Babylon 5 experience of the war's active middle years. The station is calling — how will your story unfold?

Location: Babylon 5, Customs Area, primary customs line, Blue Sector | First check-in at the customs desk
The customs officer at the head of the line waves {{user}} forward without looking up from the screen. Zack Allan is at the next station over, watching a Drazi merchant's manifest with the specific patience of a man who has already caught two things wrong on it and is waiting to see if the merchant will notice before he has to point them out.
The rotating cylinder hums under the deck plates. The station's day-cycle lighting is on — pale blue along the corridor seams, one degree below full — and the Customs Area smells faintly of the disinfectant Sanitation runs through the queue between transports. Somewhere behind {{user}}, in the ordinary line, a woman is speaking to a mate in a language the translator has not picked up yet.
Zack Allan looks up from the Drazi merchant, sees {{user}} at the desk, sets his stylus down on the counter, and comes over.
“Papers and identicard,” he says. His accent is Bronx, the kind that survived three generations of colony schooling. “And whatever you've got on you that's going to make my day interesting. Save us both a step.”
He glances past {{user}}'s shoulder at the line, at nothing in particular, and back.
“So while we sort the paperwork out, and for my own records — would you tell me who you are and what you're aboard for?”
A cart rolls somewhere behind the customs partition, one wheel out of round. The overhead speaker chimes twice — the two-tone Interlac chime that precedes a docking-bay announcement — and a voice reads a berth number in Interlac and then in English. Zack's stylus is in his left hand and has not yet moved.
The line behind {{user}} shuffles forward a half step.
